  • nouns which cannot be counted and they usually have no plural
  • food: cheese, butter, sugar, meat, jam etc.
  • liquids: coffee, water, milk, tea, oil etc.
  • materials: gold, iron, wood, paper etc.
  • abstract nouns: beauty, love, sadness etc.
