The theme of the lesson: “What should you do to be healthy”
The aims:

To teach pupils to work in group, to develop partnership relations between pupils

T: — Good morning, everybody! I’m very glad to see you at today’s lesson. How are you?
P1: — I’m fine, thanks And how are you?
T: — I’m fine too. Thank you.
T: — Today we’ll speak on the theme “Health”. We’ll discuss how sports, balanced diet help us to be fit, healthy and strong. We shall speak about problems. You will know something interesting and for you. I hope that our lesson will be important and useful for you. You see that your health is in your own hands. Thousands years ago ancient Greeks said: “The first wealth is health”. “Health is the ‘best wealth”. These words will be a redline of today’s lesson.

T: Today I received a letter from London. It was written by Colin. You know him.

Dear friends from Kazakhstan!
Hello! How are you? I think you are OK. What news in your school? I am so –so. No news in our school. I am writing this letter and I want you to you advice me. My health is not good. I get up late and I don’t have breakfast because I don’t want. I live near school, but I go to school by bus. I don’t like to go on foot. I never eat fruits and vegetables because I don’t like them. In cold weather I don’t go out. I am afraid of having a cold. But I often have illnesses. I don’t know “Why?” I want you to give me advice “What should I do to be healthy?” With love your friend Colin.

Next task is to make up sentences using the words which you write in task1. Then take the pen and read your sentence and say “please” giving your pen to your neighbour. He will say “thanks” and read his own sentence.
